View Log Overview
Overview
The View Log records supported page and record views inside RISE CRM.
What this feature does
It helps administrators see who opened or viewed supported records, pages, or entities, along with context such as time, user, IP address, and device information where available.
Why it is useful
- It helps review access to sensitive records.
- It adds visibility beyond create, update, and delete events.
- It supports investigations where viewing a record is important context.
Who should read this?
RISE Admin, Security Officer, System Owner.
Where to find it
Rise Audit Pro → View Log.
How to use it
- Open Rise Audit Pro → View Log.
- Filter by user, entity type, date, or IP address if available.
- Review who viewed the selected records.
- Compare view events with Activity Log when investigating sensitive changes.
Example workflow
A sensitive invoice was changed after several users viewed it. The admin checks View Log to see who accessed the invoice before the change.
