Unwatch an Entity
Overview
Unwatching removes an entity from a user’s watchlist.
What this feature does
It helps keep the watchlist focused on records that still need monitoring.
Why it is useful
- It reduces alert and review noise.
- It keeps the watchlist manageable.
- It helps users close completed investigations.
Who should read this?
RISE Admin, Staff User, Project Manager, Support Manager.
Where to find it
Rise Audit Pro → Watchlist, or supported entity history modal.
How to use it
- Open Watchlist.
- Find the watched entity.
- Click Unwatch or remove.
- Confirm the entity is no longer watched.
- Review watchlist periodically.
Example workflow
After a client issue is resolved, the support manager removes the client record from their watchlist.

Common mistakes
- Leaving resolved records watched forever.
- Removing records before an investigation is complete.
- Assuming unwatching deletes audit history. It only removes the watch relationship.
