Overview

Unwatching removes an entity from a user’s watchlist.

It helps keep the watchlist focused on records that still need monitoring.

RISE Admin, Staff User, Project Manager, Support Manager.

Where to find it

Rise Audit Pro → Watchlist, or supported entity history modal.

How to use it

  1. Open Watchlist.
  2. Find the watched entity.
  3. Click Unwatch or remove.
  4. Confirm the entity is no longer watched.
  5. Review watchlist periodically.

Example workflow

After a client issue is resolved, the support manager removes the client record from their watchlist.

Common mistakes

  • Leaving resolved records watched forever.
  • Removing records before an investigation is complete.
  • Assuming unwatching deletes audit history. It only removes the watch relationship.
