Estimated reading: 1 minute 5 views

Overview

Alert conditions define what an audit event must match before a rule fires.

What this feature does

They may include entity type, action type, user, severity, IP, country, or other event fields depending on the plugin configuration.

Why it is useful

  • They prevent alerts from firing on irrelevant events.
  • They make monitoring more accurate.
  • They help teams focus on high-risk activity.

Who should read this?

RISE Admin, Security Officer, Developer / Support Engineer.

Where to find it

Rise Audit Pro → Alert Rules → Rule conditions.

How to use it

  1. Open an alert rule.
  2. Review the condition fields.
  3. Choose the entity, action, or trigger criteria.
  4. Save and test the rule.
  5. Adjust conditions if the rule is too noisy or too narrow.

Example workflow

Instead of alerting on every update, an admin creates a condition for invoice updates only when the action is related to finance entities.
