Overview

Webhooks send selected Rise Audit Pro events to external URLs when alert rules match.

What webhooks are useful for

• Send failed-login alerts to n8n.
• Post critical audit events to Slack, Discord, or Telegram.
• Create incident tickets in another system.
• Send finance deletion alerts to operations.
• Trigger custom workflows when high-risk events happen.

Where to find it

Rise Audit Pro → Alert Rules → Webhook action, and Rise Audit Pro → Settings → Webhooks.

Typical flow

Audit event happens
  → Alert rule condition matches
  → Rise Audit Pro sends webhook payload
  → External system verifies and processes the payload
  → External action happens, such as chat alert or ticket creation

Common mistakes

• Using untrusted URLs.
• Sending full sensitive payloads to public channels.
• Not testing delivery.
• Not verifying signatures when available.
