View Tracking on Entity Pages
Overview
View tracking records when supported entity pages are opened by users.
What this feature does
It can show which user viewed a record, when they viewed it, and related context such as IP address or device information where available.
Why it is useful
- It helps understand access to sensitive records.
- It supports investigations when a record was viewed before an important change.
- It adds context beyond create, update, and delete activity.
Who should read this?
RISE Admin, Security Officer, System Owner.
Where to find it
Rise Audit Pro → View Log, and supported RISE CRM entity pages.
How to use it
- Open a supported entity page as a user.
- Open Rise Audit Pro → View Log.
- Filter by entity type, user, or date.
- Review the view event details.
Example workflow
A sensitive invoice was viewed by multiple users before an amount change. The admin checks View Log to see who accessed it.

Common mistakes
- Treating view tracking as proof of malicious activity by itself.
- Ignoring privacy policies around view tracking.
