Overview

Project view tracking records when supported project pages are opened by users.

What this feature does

It helps project managers and administrators understand who accessed project information and when.

Why it is useful

  • It supports project accountability.
  • It can help investigate whether a project was reviewed before a status or deadline change.
  • It gives visibility into project access patterns.

Who should read this?

Project Manager, RISE Admin, Security Officer.

Where to find it

RISE CRM → Projects, then Rise Audit Pro → View Log.

How to use it

  1. Open a project page as a permitted user.
  2. Open View Log.
  3. Filter by project entity if available.
  4. Review view timestamp, user, and IP context.

Example workflow

A project was updated by a user who also viewed it multiple times that day. The manager checks both View Log and Activity Log for context.

Common mistakes

  • Assuming client portal views and staff views always appear in the same way.
  • Using view count alone to judge productivity.
  • Ignoring permissions that control whether users can see view logs.
