Estimated reading: 1 minute 3 views

Overview

A webhook alert rule controls when Rise Audit Pro sends data to an external system.

How to create it

  1. Open Rise Audit Pro → Alert Rules.
  2. Click New Rule.
  3. Enter a clear rule name.
  4. Choose conditions such as entity type, action, user, severity, IP, or country.
  5. Select Webhook as the action.
  6. Enter the destination URL.
  7. Save the rule.
  8. Trigger a safe test event.

Example rule

Rule name Invoice Deleted Webhook
Condition Entity type = invoices, Action = deleted
Action Send webhook
Destination https://example.com/webhooks/rise-audit-pro

Common mistakes

  • Creating broad noisy rules.
  • Testing with real sensitive records.
  • Not documenting who owns the external endpoint.
