Tracking Record Views
Overview
Record view tracking shows when a supported entity record was opened by a user.
What this feature does
It connects a view event to a specific record where possible, such as a project, task, invoice, client, ticket, or other supported entity.
Why it is useful
- It helps review access to important records.
- It can show who looked at a record before or after a change.
- It supports access accountability for sensitive data.
Who should read this?
RISE Admin, Security Officer, Team Manager.
Where to find it
Rise Audit Pro → View Log, and supported RISE CRM entity pages.
How to use it
- Open a supported record as a user.
- Open View Log.
- Filter by entity type or user.
- Review the recorded view events.
- Compare with Activity Log if a change happened later.
Example workflow
Before investigating an invoice update, the admin checks View Log to see which users viewed the invoice on the same day.
