Restoring Archived Records

Overview

Restoring returns archived audit records to an active or reviewable state depending on plugin behavior.

How to use it

1. Open Archived Logs.
2. Find the archived records.
3. Select Restore.
4. Confirm.
5. Open Activity Log or related page to verify visibility.

Example

A compliance officer restores archived invoice-change logs after a client dispute requires older evidence.

Common mistakes

• Restoring huge volumes without filters.
• Assuming restore changes original timestamps.
• Restoring records without a reason.
