Overview

Notes let administrators add investigation context without changing the original audit event.

How to use it

  1. Open Activity Log.
  2. Find the event.
  3. Click Add Note.
  4. Write a clear internal note.
  5. Save.
  6. Review the note later from event details.

Good note example

Reviewed with Finance Manager. Deletion was part of duplicate invoice cleanup. Approved on 2026-05-17.

Bad note example

Do not put in notes

  • Passwords.
  • API keys.
  • Private secrets.
  • Unnecessary personal data.
