Tasks, projects, invoices, estimates, proposals, clients, leads, tickets, expenses, contracts, and orders may be opened from quick-view popups or AJAX modals.\n<\/p>\n<h2>What is a Page View?<\/h2>\n<p>\nA <strong>Page View<\/strong> is recorded when a user opens a full RISE CRM page for a supported entity.\n<\/p>\n<p>\nExamples:\n<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Opening a project page.<\/li>\n<li>Opening a task page directly.<\/li>\n<li>Opening an invoice page.<\/li>\n<li>Opening an estimate, proposal, ticket, client, lead, expense, contract, or order page.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\nPage Views are useful when administrators need to know who accessed a full record page and when that access happened.\n<\/p>\n<h2>What is a Modal View?<\/h2>\n<p>\nA <strong>Modal View<\/strong> is recorded when a user opens an important entity detail popup or AJAX modal inside RISE CRM.\n<\/p>\n<p>\nFor example, when a user opens a task from the task list and RISE CRM displays the task details inside a popup, Rise Audit Pro records that access as a Modal View.\n<\/p>\n<p>\nModal Views help capture real user behavior that would otherwise be missed if the audit system only tracked full page loads.\n<\/p>\n<h2>Why Modal View tracking matters<\/h2>\n<p>\nRISE CRM relies heavily on modals and quick-view screens. Without Modal View tracking, a user could open and inspect a record without triggering a traditional page view.\n<\/p>\n<p>\nBy tracking Modal Views, Rise Audit Pro gives administrators a more accurate access history.\n<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>See who opened a task from a popup.<\/li>\n<li>Confirm whether a staff member inspected a record without editing it.<\/li>\n<li>Track access to important entity details opened through AJAX views.<\/li>\n<li>Differentiate between full page access and quick modal access.<\/li>\n<li>Improve audit coverage across common RISE CRM workflows.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Supported Modal View examples<\/h2>\n<p>\nRise Audit Pro can track important entity detail modals, including supported AJAX view screens for:\n<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Tasks<\/li>\n<li>Projects<\/li>\n<li>Invoices<\/li>\n<li>Estimates<\/li>\n<li>Proposals<\/li>\n<li>Clients<\/li>\n<li>Leads<\/li>\n<li>Tickets<\/li>\n<li>Expenses<\/li>\n<li>Contracts<\/li>\n<li>Orders<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div class=\"rap-doc-note\">\n    <strong>Note:<\/strong> Available modal tracking depends on how the installed RISE CRM version opens each entity. Some modules may open as full pages, while others may use AJAX modals.\n<\/div>\n<h2>What is not tracked as a Modal View?<\/h2>\n<p>\nRise Audit Pro does not track every popup or interface element. This avoids unnecessary noise in the audit log.\n<\/p>\n<p>\nThe following UI-only interactions are not treated as Modal Views:\n<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Confirmation dialogs.<\/li>\n<li>Dropdown menus.<\/li>\n<li>Date pickers.<\/li>\n<li>Tooltips.<\/li>\n<li>Small settings popups.<\/li>\n<li>Non-entity interface dialogs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\nOnly meaningful entity detail views are recorded.\n<\/p>\n<h2>How View Source appears in View Log<\/h2>\n<p>\nThe View Log includes a <strong>View Source<\/strong> column. This column shows whether the record was opened as a full page or inside a modal.\n<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Page View:<\/strong> The user opened a full entity page.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Modal View:<\/strong> The user opened an entity detail popup or AJAX modal.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\nThis makes it easier to answer questions such as:\n<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Did the user open the full record page?<\/li>\n<li>Was the record viewed from a quick popup?<\/li>\n<li>Who inspected this record without making changes?<\/li>\n<li>Which records are frequently viewed from modal workflows?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Using the View Source filter<\/h2>\n<p>\nIf the View Source filter is available, administrators can filter the View Log by:\n<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>All view sources<\/li>\n<li>Page View<\/li>\n<li>Modal View<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\nThis helps teams separate full page access from quick-view popup access during investigations.\n<\/p>\n<h2>Duplicate prevention<\/h2>\n<p>\nRise Audit Pro includes duplicate prevention for repeated views within a short time window.\n<\/p>\n<p>\nFor example, if the same user opens the same task modal multiple times within a short period, Rise Audit Pro avoids creating excessive duplicate records.\n<\/p>\n<p>\nPage Views and Modal Views are handled separately. Some modules may open as full pages depending on the RISE CRM version or theme customization.\n<\/p>\n<h3>The same modal does not create a new row every time<\/h3>\n<p>\nThis is expected. Rise Audit Pro prevents duplicate view records within a short time window to avoid noisy logs.\n<\/p>\n<h3>Older records do not show a clear View Source<\/h3>\n<p>\nOlder View Log records created before Modal View tracking may appear as Page View or Unknown Source depending on the available metadata.\n<\/p>\n<h3>The Country column shows Unknown country<\/h3>\n<p>\nThis means the IP address was captured but could not be resolved to a country.
